DAF
The equipment used to separate suspended particles such as oil, fat, and solids from wastewater or clean water is called dissolved air flotation (DAF). This process is done by dissolving air into water at high, reducing the pressure. As a result, suspended air bubbles will appear and rise to the surface. These bubbles will lift suspended particles to the surface and then be collected for disposal using a skimmer.
