Rapidly growing industries in big cities like Bandung often have negative impacts on the surrounding environment, one of which is the problem of unpleasant odors produced by factory wastewater processing. One of the factories facing this problem is PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company, Tbk., whose operations produce odors that are quite disturbing to residents around the factory. To overcome this, PT. Tata Tirta Utama has collaborated with PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company, Tbk. to overcome unpleasant odors originating from industrial waste through the installation of a new wastewater treatment plant (IPAL).

The installation of this new wastewater treatment system is equipped with modern tools that can process industrial waste more efficiently and filter components that cause unpleasant odors. Through better processing stages, wastewater produced by the factory will undergo a filtration process, biological treatment, and filtration which ensures that the odors that arise can be minimized significantly.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment between the industrial and technology sectors in responding to environmental challenges. In addition, through the implementation of an efficient wastewater treatment system, PT. Tata Tirta Utama and PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company, Tbk. hopes to be an example for other companies in managing waste sustainably.
